Adoption:

  • Adoption records from 1833 to December 31, 1963 are kept in the Probate Court and available upon request, proper ID, and the Courts approval.
  • Adult Adoptees adopted between January 1, 1964 thru September 19, 1996 may submit an application to Ohio Department of Health for a copy of their adoption file. For more information call ODH at (614) 466-2531.
